Pre-Med students who assist with clinical care and research take the next step!

Meridian Surgery Center is happy to announce we have two premed students who have jumped the hurdle and are now on their way to medical school.

Kyler Perry, a native of Wasilla, Alaska and graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, is now on his way to Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Richardson, Nevada. Kyler became a research assistant with us in the fall of 2017 and is now a published author regarding methods to decrease opiate use in the postoperative setting. Kyler will make an excellent doctor!

Nina Thach is a local Daffodil Princess, who also graduated from Pacific Lutheran University and is now on her way to medical school at Washington State University in Spokane.  Nina spearheaded a research project for us regarding gallbladder disease. Best of luck to Nina!
