We are all facing unprecedented times as the COVID-19 virus spreads. During this time at our facility, we are establishing a practice of patient separation as a means of social distancing. Cascade Hernia & Surgical Solutions at Meridian Surgery Center is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and supporting the surgical needs of our patients.
In contrast to hospital settings, our facility is able to provide private waiting rooms to each patient and any family members attending with them. We are committed to providing an outpatient environment that allows our patients to continue social isolation practices while on-site. We are expecting and are prepared for increased surgery volume as patients are utilizing time off from work for recovery.
All of our operating suites employ high-efficiency particulate HEPA air filters. These specialized filters are tested for minimum efficiency of 99.97% on particles a small as .3 µm, which is equivalent to 1/300th of the diameter of a human hair, ensuring patients and staff are protected from airborne contaminants including bacteria and pathogens.

Please help us prevent the spread of COVID-19 by staying home if you’re feeling sick. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure and include fever, cough and shortness of breath.
If information changes, expect further updates from our office. We appreciate your flexibility and grace during this challenging time.
Our thoughts are with those who are ill and those who are currently or facing quarantine.
In health,

Just wanted to share an idea I saw other offices doing and that is they are having people wait in there cars until it’s there turn and then they text them. Keep safe.
